Bart Centre

BART CENTRE ( Bulawayo Assisted Reproductive Technology Centre ) is the first fertility centre in the city of Bulawayo, Zimbabwe and strives in helping people build families.

The founding doctor, Dr Jephat Moyo is a specialist gynaecologist who trained at the University of Zimbabwe and has extensive knowledge in the field of infertility. He did his training in infertility in Dubai (UAE), London (UK) and Singapore.
BART CENTRE opened its doors in December 2016, and since then we have been growing from strength to strength. We are proud to announce that BART and Dr Moyo made history in the city of Bulawayo as the first baby conceived from this treatment was born in August 2017.

At BART CENTRE, our approach to infertility is to provide the most comprehensive infertility services available. Services that start from your initial evaluation to offering the most advanced forms of treatment available, namely, In-vitro fertilization (IVF) and Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection (ICSI), sperm freezing, Egg freezing and Embyro freezing and basic forms of treatment including Ovulation Induction and Intrauterine insemination(IUI).
We also facilitate and offer Egg and Sperm donation. Coupled with our experience and expertise, we can offer understanding and support as you face your personal challenges of infertility.​Our goal is simple, that you receive the best medical care and guidance with personal attention. Recent studies have revealed that as many as 1 in every 10 couples are considered infertile. That is, they are unable to conceive a child after one year of unprotected intercourse. Infertility may have complicated and sometimes multiple causes and it can also exact an emotional stress.
